Register for your Yoga class

If you need a slow, gentle way to practice yoga, this class is for you. Whether you need a safe introduction to yoga or you seek a way to successfully reconnect to yoga, the slower pace of this class will help you make your postures more accessible.

Goals include:

-Stretching for increased flexibility
-Improvement of balance to decrease risk of
 falling
-Gradual increases in strength to protect
 against aggravating former injuries
-An emphasis on deep relaxation

Gentle Yoga is often offered as a practice designed for seniors as a means for graceful aging, and indeed it is, but we also know the design and focus of this class is good for any age and level of ability.

BETSY TEMPLETON, Certified Instructor, is a graduate of the Yoga Works teacher training program and certified in the I Rest Yoga Nidra mindfulness training program. She is also certified as a Holistic Health and Nutrition Counselor, helping people achieve their health and lifestyle goals.
